It's the FINAL COUNTDOWN!Do do DO DOOOOO...do do DO DO DO... |
The Last Episode of The Art of Being is here! And goddamn. This feels like a good note to go out on! We're talking about Divine Timing, folks. That's right, the big unknowable poobah in the sky who determines whether Christmas comes early or if you have to wait another year for the goodies you've been manifesting to come dropped off to your door by a smokin' hot UPS person. (You know, the kind who make that brown uniform look hot by osmosis.) Right? Nope! You are a co-creator of your reality, you beautiful tryptophan-stuffed turkey nugget. You make the plans here too -- they're just not all going to work out exactly the way you asked for them on the schedule you requested because nothing works that way. Not even your hot-as-fuck UPS deliveries. The Universe is co-creating right along with you. And that means it has input. Awesome input. The kind of input that the Universe, being made up of literally everything, can give. The kind that we, as humans without omniscient perception, would be stupid to pass up the opportunity to accept. This is a win-win partnership, my friend. No one is coming out of their life alive at the end of it, so this is the best way to maximize the awesomeness you can pack into your life now while you've got one. Listen to the Universe. And listen to your emotions. As people, we are often asking the Universe for stuff we think is going to help or fix our situation. And what we're asking for here really is, "hey, can you help me get out of this uncomfy situation? I'd really appreciate it." But what we say out loud with our mouths is something like, "hey, can I please have the love of my eternal life show up in a red Ferrari with a trust fund this weekend so I don't ever have to work again? Thanks, babe. Big fan of your work, Universe." And somehow...that never works?? Because it's not a genuine ask. For most of us, we're just trying to bypass the discomfort we're in by speculating on the circumstances that would remove it and begging God to make them happen. Um. My dear fluffy bunny, you can do better than that. You can co-create with Divine Intelligence itself. And that's what we're talking about this week on the podcast! Episode 19: The Freaky Science of Divine TimingIn the last episode of the podcast, we're talking about the universal experience of Divine Timing.....aka "why do things show up in my life when they do, and not when I ask for them?" and "how do the right things sometimes come out of bloody nowhere when I didn't ask for them?" and sometimes "holy bleeding fuck, where did THIS SHIT come from?? like everrrr??" Let's get into it. Tune in for...

The Diamond Room Newsletter Happy New Moon! in Capricorn What's a pirate's favorite letter? You'd think it'd be Arrr... but a pirate's first love is the Sea! It's vacation vibes over here in Slade-land. For my parents' 40th wedding anniversary, my family is going on a Caribbean cruise. My parents have become avid cruise-goers over the last decade and my brother and I finally gave in to peer pressure to spend days at sea on a boat with no sails (my complaint) and 6,000 other people (his...
